Seeger Gallery Moves to Leura Seeger Gallery, proudly showcases abstract, figurative and indigenous painting, prints and sculpture. Formerly ‘The Little Gallery of Katoomba’, it’s moved to new premises in The Mall, Leura. Seeger Gallery emphasises support for local artists representing Paul du Moulin, Jane Canfield, Geoff Hayes, Alexis Apfelbaum, April Erzetich, Rachel Szalay, Alex McKay, Sophie Seeger, Chris (Wirriimbi-Oak) Edwards and Fabri Blacklock. It specialises in handmade and arthouse jewelery, displaying the lost wax method, sculpted glass beads and romantic jewelery using vintage stones from Europe and New York. “We’re a boutique-style gallery with boutique-style service to clients and artists alike”, says Sophie Seeger. “Our mission is to introduce clients to inspiring new, emerging and established artists; and to encourage the start or growth of a collection”. Seeger is a contemporary art and design gallery encouraging a love of art and design excellence. It also supports an arts sourcing and a colour & decorating consultancy to assist you with art and decorating decisions for your home or workplace. It carries a range of exquisite handmade lampshades exclusive to Seeger and Monica Trapaga in Sydney and over the next few months the gallery will be designing and printing a range of fabrics and upholstery. |
